...Light wintry mix moving across the region...A wintry mix of snow, sleet and some freezing rain is movingacross the Mohawk River Valley, eastern Catskills, SchoharieValley, Greater Capital Region, southern Adirondacks, Lake Georgenorthern Saratoga Region, and the northern and central Taconicsbetween 1030 am and 1230 pm. Snow and sleet amounts will be lightwith a coating to under a half an inch. Any ice accretion will belight amounting to a coating to a few hundredths of an inch onuntreated surfaces. As temperatures rise above freezing in manylocations this afternoon, the mixed precipitation will change tolight rain. Exercise caution while driving on the roadways latethis morning into the afternoon, where the mixed precipitation isoccurring.
