Temperatures are still in the 20s acrossmuch of this area. Some light coatings to a few hundredths of aninch of ice are possible on the untreated surfaces. The windswill continue to increase from the south at 10 to 20 mph with somegusts around 30 mph.Motorists should be prepared to encounter locally slippery travelconditions this afternoon as the freezing rain moves in. Reducespeeds and leave greater distances between vehicles on theroadways.

Temperatures are still inthe 20s to around 30 across much of this area. Some lightcoatings to a few hundredths of an inch of ice are possible on theuntreated surfaces. The winds will continue to increase from thesouth to southeast at 10 to 20 mph with some gusts around 30 mph.Temperatures will gradually rise above the freezing mark in themid to late afternoon, especially in the Hudson River Valleycorridor from the Capital District south.Motorists should be prepared to encounter locally slippery travelconditions this afternoon as the freezing rain moves in.
