While Visibilities Are Mainly From 1 To 3 Miles In Patchy Fog...There Are Down To One-Quarter Miles Or Less In Spots. The Locally Dense Fog Should Persist Through At Least 8 AM Across Most Of The Region. Motorist Should Be On The Outlook For Rapidly Changing Visibilities...And When Encountering Fog...Slow Down And Use Low Beam Headlights.

This Will Result In Some Spotty Icy Spots On Untreated Roads Overnight...As Daytime Rain Has Washed Away The Salt Treatment On Roads. Any Untreated Road Surface Through The Overnight May Have Icy Spots. A Cold Front Will Transition This Plain Rain Back To Snow Through The Overnight With Snow Accumulations An Inch Or Less. Motorists Should Be Prepared For Slick Spots On Roads Tonight From Plain Rain Freezing And Snow. Drive With Caution And Allow Extra Time To Reach Your Destination.
