Temporary Road closures near Stony Point seawall Sunday February 1st 10 AM to 2 PM for Polar Plunge.

The Stony Point Police are advising area residents that on Sunday, February 1st, portions of Grassy Point Road and River Road in Stony Point will be closed to all vehicular traffic from approximately ten in the morning to approximately 2 in the afternoon. The yearly Polar Plunge into the Hudson River draws over a thousand people to the area so traffic is temporarily diverted. Parking is available near the event.
