A band of heavy lake effect rain will remainover central and southern Erie county, and into Genesee andWyoming counties this evening. The band will settle south acrosssouthern Erie and Wyoming counties overnight through Tuesday.The lake effect rain will likely linger into Tuesday nightbefore diminishing on Wednesday morning.* Excessive runoff from the heavy rainfall may result inflooding of low lying areas and also small streams and creeks.Urban flooding in possible in the Buffalo metro area.
