...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHERN ERIE COUNTY...At 1027 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Derby andmoving east at 15 mph.Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail are possible with thisstorm.Locations impacted include...Hamburg, Evans, Boston, Eden, Springville, Colden, Orchard Park,Angola, North Collins and Derby.This includes Interstate 90 between exits 57A and 57.Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may causelocalized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through floodedroadways.Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm.
