Southwest Winds Of Around 20 Mph Gusting To Over 30 Mph Combined With Low Relative Humidities And Dry Conditions Is Leading To An Enhanced Threat For Rapid Spread Of Brush Fires This Evening. Several Brush Fires Have Been Reported In Central New York And Northeast Pennsylvania As Of Early This Evening. Expect The Winds To Continue From The Southwest Around 20 Mph Until Between 9 And 10 PM When The Wind Will Die Down. Relative Humidities Will Also Remain Very Low Until Late Evening. People Should Avoid Burning Brush This Evening As The Fire Could Rapid Spread Out Of Control. Listen To Noaa Weather Radio Or Your Local Media For The Latest Updates On This Situation. The National Weather Service In Burlington Has Issued A * Flood Advisory For Ice Jams And Snow Melt... West Central St. Lawrence County In Northern New York... This Includes Ogdensburg...Heuvelton...And Any Other Locations Along The Oswegatchie River. * Until 1145 PM EDT * At 345 PM EDT A Spotter Reported An Ice Jam Had Released Downstream Of The Rensselaer Falls Falls Bridge Around Heuvelton New York. This Had Earlier Caused Some Street And Field Flooding Along Stretches Of County Route 15. Other Ice Jams Are Possible This Afternoon And Tonight Along The Oswegatchie River In Saint Lawrence County New York Which Could Cause Additional Minor Road And Field Flooding.
