Dates: Mon, 08/03/2015 - 8:00am - Sun, 08/09/2015 - 11:00pm, Cattaraugus County Farm Bureau will continue its policy of educating the public on the many different types of agriculture in Cattaraugus County by sponsoring the "Ag Discovery Tent" at the Cattaraugus County Fair again this year. The Fair runs from Monday, August 3rd thru Sunday, August 9th. The Discovery Tent will have a different theme scheduled each day.

Faith Tanner-Thrush will conduct an evening of drumming, discussion, and a contemplative labyrinth walk. Participants are encouraged to bring items to drum on and they can be as simple as a household bucket. Some drums will be provided.
Dates: Sat, 08/01/2015 - 8:19am, St. Bonaventure University will host the 30th annual reunion of the Descendants of the 154th New York Volunteer Infantry Regiment on Saturday, Aug. 1. Activities begin at 2 p.m. in the Rigas Theater of the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts. Reunion activities are open to the public. Admission is FREE, with the exception of a session-ending barbecue and concert.

The Woods at Bear Creek is hosting a fishing derby right on their beautiful lake! Registration opens at 7am but no lines are allowed until the horn sounds. Each team needs to have one adult and one minor (under 18). This is a FREE event, but you must supply your own pole.

This has been listed on the National Historic Registry Sites and this event is presented by the Ellicottville Historical Society. Actors will portray area residents ages 6 to over 60.
