Dates: Fri, 07/29/2016 - 9:15pm - 11:00pm, Enjoy a laser guided tour of the constellations with expert galaxy guide Greg Snowman. Hear the legends and myths that surround these patterns in the night sky. Later, enjoy views through telescopes to observe other deep space objects such as galaxies, star clusters, nebula and planets.

The sights of meadow flowers and the songs of singing birds will surround us as we participate in fun games like “Animal Olympics” and enjoy nature explorations of woodpeckers, amphibians and more!

Young artists are invited to join veteran plein air oil painter Thomas Annear to experience the woods of the Pfeiffer Nature Center outside of Portville NY as only an artist can. Learn basic drawing techniques during the morning nature journaling class. Enjoy a Plein Air painting demonstration while you eat lunch.
Dates: Sun, 07/10/2016 - 10:00am - 2:00pm, Enjoy a visit to the Pfeiffer cabin which is listed on the national and state registers of historic places. The American Chestnut cabin is a very well preserved specimen of rustic style whose basic integrity has remained unchanged since its 1939/1940 construction. The cabin is a true gem of the Lillibridge preserve and an indoor exploration is not to be missed!

Dates: Sun, 07/31/2016 - 12:00pm - 5:00pm, Come to the "Freckled Duck Festival" held at the Sanctuary on July 28th from 12-5PM. There will be music, Food, Bird Tours of our 700 birds and 75 species. There will be duck races if there is sufficient water. Cost is $5 and Bird Tours are $2 each.

There will be tractor displays all weekend long with rodeo games, chicken bbq on Sunday, Kid's pedal pull and pulled pork sandwiches on Saturday!

The 6th Anuual Don Kent & Rich "Pork" Giberson Memorial Horse Pull will take place at the Hinsdale American Legion Field and proceeds will benefit Local Veterans' Organizations.
