Ms. VanScoy will portray the famous Civil War Confederate Spy, Belle Boyd, who at the tender age of 18 was able to pass critical intelligence to the Confederates. She was imprisoned many times and shared her war experiences through her autobiography.

Ray Evans, a Salamanca native, was a pop lyricist who teamed up with the composer/lyricist Jay Livingston and wrote three Academy Award-winning songs together, as well as their famous Christmas song, “Silver Bells”.

The New York and Lake Erie Railroad and the community of South Dayton, NY were the backdrop for several scenes. In celebration of this anniversary, the public can enjoy a 20 mile train ride on either Saturday, September 7th, or Sunday September 8th, 2013.
