Cayuga Lake At Ithaca Affecting Tompkins County The Flood Warning Continues For The Cayuga Lake At Ithaca. * Until Further Notice. * At 2 AM Thursday The Stage Was 383.6 Feet. * Flood Stage Is 383.5 Feet. * Minor Flooding Is Occurring And Minor Flooding Is Forecast. * Forecast...The River Will Continue Rising To Near 383.8 Feet By 8 AM Friday. Additional Rises May Be Possible Thereafter. * Forecast...The River Will Crest Near 383.8 Feet Around 8 AM Friday ...Then Begin Falling. * Impact...At 384.0 Feet...Flooding Is Likely Along The South End Of The Lake Impacting Parks Such As Stewart Park And Allan H Treman State Park. More Of Route 13 In The Southwestern District Will Be Impacted Including Isolating The Titus Towers Area (Senior Housing). Cattaraugus County In Western New York... * Until 1030 PM EDT * At 737 PM EDT National Weather Service Doppler Radar Depicts Nearly An Inch Of Rainfall Has Fallen Over Eastern Cattaraugus And Into Western Allegany County...Including A Narrow Strip From Near Franklinville To Cuba. Additional Showers And Thunderstorms May Bring A Quarter To Half Inch Of Additional Rainfall In The Warned Area This Evening. This Rainfall Will Elevate Stream Flows In These Counties And May Cause Some Streams To Near Bankfull. Some Poor Drainage Ponding Of Water In Low Lying Areas Is Also Likely.
