In northeast Pennsylvania,Lackawanna, Luzerne, Northern Wayne, Pike, and Southern Wayne.* Through this evening* A large area of moderate to heavy rain will impact the watcharea this morning. Hourly rainfall rates of 0.25 to 0.5 inchesare likely, with total rainfall of 1 to 2 inches possible inparts of northeast Pennsylvania and the western Catskills of NewYork by midday.* The above described rainfall could lead to rapid rises onsmaller tributaries and possible flooding, with significantrises also anticipated on some area rivers.
