...Possible slick and icy traveling conditions this early Fridaymorning...Light snow occurred overnight across most of the region. Thisthin layer of snow may result in hazardous traveling conditionsfor the morning commute as temperatures remain below freezing.The most susceptible areas will be untreated surfaces, bridges,overpasses and exit or entrances ramps with black ice. Inaddition, less traveled secondary roads, parking lots, sidewalksand driveways will be particularly susceptible to potential blackice formation this morning. Motorists and pedestrians are urged totravel with care this morning.

The band alsoextends eastward into Northern Wyoming County and will edge intoSouthwestern Genesee County later this afternoon.Locations impacted include...South Buffalo, Cheektowaga, West Seneca, Lackawanna, Depew,Lancaster, Hamburg, Darien Lakes State Park, Elma and Marilla.This includes Interstate 90 between exits 57 and 52A.Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this band ofheavy lake effect snow, as roads are already treacherous south ofBuffalo. There have been numerous accidents due to snow coveredroads and whiteout conditions.
