This could result in the downing ofsome tree limbs or compromised trees, along with isolated poweroutages. Northwest winds will then gust to around 40 mph for therest of the day, ushering in a much colder airmass which willallow temperatures drop into the 30s. Wind chills will fall intothe teens and 20s as a result.

More importantly, sharply fallingtemperatures are expected behind the front later tonight into Fridaymorning, leading to the potential for a quick flash freeze on arearoads where light precipitation has fallen. This may createlocalized slick travel for Friday morning`s commute, especiallyacross northern New York and the northern Green Mountains ofVermont.
