Travelthrough this band will be extremely difficult, with heavy snow alongInterstate 81 between Altmar and Adams. This band of heavy lakeeffect snow will start to move north after 600 AM and is expected toreach the Watertown area around mid-morning.Locations impacted include...Sandy Island Beach State Park, Lowville, Pulaski, Adams, Redfield,Selkirk Shores State Park, Highmarket, Barnes Corners, Whetstone GulfState Park and Southwick Beach State Park.This includes Interstate 81 between exits 36 and 41.

...A SNOW SQUALL WILL AFFECT NORTHERN ERIE...SOUTHEASTERN NIAGARA ANDGENESEE COUNTIES...At 1106 PM EST, a snow squall was located along a line extending fromAkron to near Williamsville to near Kenmore to 12 miles northwest ofAngola On The Lake.Locations impacted include...Buffalo, Cheektowaga, West Seneca, North Tonawanda, Clarence,Lackawanna, Batavia, Kenmore, Depew and Tonawanda.This includes Interstate 90 between exits 56 and 48.Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a quarter of a mile inthis squall.Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this dangeroussnow squall. Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roadsare likely to lead to accidents. Consider delaying travel until thesquall passes your location.
