A Quick Half Inch To Inch Of Snowfall Is Possible. There May Also Be Some Rain Mixed In As Temperatures Slowly Rise Into The Mid 30S. Conditions Are Forecast To Dry Out By Early Afternoon. Drivers Are Urged To Use Caution When Encountering Lower Visibilities And Look Out For Icy Spots On Roads. Please Give Yourself Extra Time To Reach Your Destination This Morning.

A Band Of Snow Extending Across The Buffalo Southtowns Southern South To Ellicottville And Olean Will Lift Northeast Over The Next Few Hours Bringing A Brief Period Of Moderate To Heavy Snow. This Band Of Snow Will Extend From Buffalo To Wellsville By Midnight Then From Niagara Falls To Batavia To Dansville By 1 PM. Expect Decreased Visibilities Down To A Half Mile And A Quick Inch Or Two Of Snow Which Could Make For Slippery Travel.

The Burst Of Snow Will Reach Olean And Wellsville Between 1030 And 1100 PM...With Snow Spreading Into Franklinville And Angelica Before Midnight. Snowfall Rates Of A Half Inch An Hour Will Reduce Visibility To Below A Half Mile. This Will Result In A Couple Inches Of Snow Through The Early Morning Hours. Expect Travel Conditions To Deteriorate Quickly As This Area Of Snow Moves Through.
