...SNOW SQUALLS WILL AFFECT CENTRAL AND NORTHERN VERMONT THROUGH 230AM THIS MORNING....At 1254 AM EST, snow squalls were located along a line extendingfrom near Newport to Underhill to Williston. Movement was east at 15mph.Brief heavy snow is expected with these squalls, lasting 15 to 30minutes and producing a quick inch or so of snow accumulation. Verylow visibility, of a quarter mile or less, and slick road conditionscan be expected. Reduce speed and allow extra time if you aretraveling.Locations impacted include...I-89 from Richmond to Montpelier, I-91 from Derby to Sheffield,Barre, Bristol, Colebrook, Island Pond, Addison, Shelburne, Jericho,Hinesburg, Stowe, Charlotte, Underhill, Hardwick and Berlin.
