In Northeast Pennsylvania...Bradford...Lackawanna... Luzerne...Northern Wayne...Pike...Southern Wayne...Susquehanna And Wyoming. * Through Sunday Evening * The Rain Will Come To An End This Evening. The Rain...Combined With Warm Air Has Caused The Snow To Melt. Total Rainfall Amounts Will Be Up To One And A Half Inches From Scranton East To The Poconos And Southern Catskills. The Rest Of The Area Will Get Around Half An Inch. Snow Melt Will Add Less Than An Additional Inch Of Liquid. The Flood Watch Continues For * East Central New York And Adjacent Western New England * Through Sunday Afternoon * Low Pressure Will Move Into Southeastern Canada This Afternoon Into Tonight With Some Moderate To Heavy Rainfall Occurring Ahead Of A Frontal Boundary. Temperatures Will Rise Into The 40S And Middle 50S Ahead Of The Front Allowing Snow Melt To Occur Across The Region. Rainfall Amounts Will Range From Three Quarters Of An Inch To An Inch From The Capital Region North And West...And One To One And A Half Inches To The South And East With Locally Higher Amounts. * The Rainfall Will Fall On Frozen Ground Which Will Become Runoff And May Potentially Cause Street Or Poor Drainage Flooding Of Low Lying Areas. The Warm Temperatures Combined With The Rainfall May Cause Ice Movement And Break Up For Ice Jam Flooding On Some Of The Rivers And Streams. Ice Jam Flooding Would Have Its Greatest Threat Late Saturday Afternoon

Southwestern Dutchess County In East Central New York... * Until 1215 PM EST Sunday * At 1215 PM EST.....Emergency Management...Law Enforcement And The Public Continue To Indicate An Ice Jam On The Wappingers Creek. This Ice Jam Was Between Walker Road And Maloney Road That Is Parallel To Route 376. At This Time...No Road Closures Or A Threat To Property Have Been Observed. However...Residents And Motorists Are Highly Encouraged To Monitor Water Levels And Listen For Further Statements.
