The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a* Flood Warning for...Rain and Snowmelt in...Eastern Ulster County in east central New York...* Until 715 PM EDT Sunday* At 721 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the Townof Ulster with New York Route 213 closed between Creek Locks Rd.and Mountain Rd. The flooding is due to the combination ofrainfall, snowmelt and water backing up the Rondout Creek from theHudson River. The flooding is likely to be worse at times of hightide along the Hudson River.* Some locations that will experience flooding include...Kingston, Port Ewen, Sleightsburg, Connelly, Wilbur, Ponck Hockie,Saint Remy, Rondout, Eddyville and Hillside.
