If traveling across the region, any roads thatare not treated may become very slick and hazardous, especiallyelevated surfaces. Temperatures will remain near freezing throughmidnight, then fall into the upper 20s.Motorists should be alert for rapidly changing travel conditionstonight. Patches of black ice are very difficult to see, a roadsurface that appears to be just wet, may in fact be icy andextremely slick and dangerous.

The cold temperatures and light precipitation offthe lake will result in intermittent freezing sprinkles snowshowers or drizzle with light ice accumulations on untreatedsurfaces. The precipitation is expected to end before midnight.Motorists are advised to use extreme caution and slow down,leaving extra space between yourself and other cars.
