...Patchy Black Ice Overnight on Untreated Surfaces...With temperatures forecast to fall into the upper 20s overnightand residual water from the rain and snowmelt of today on arearoadways and sidewalks, there is the potential for black iceformation overnight across interior portions of SouthernConnecticut, the Lower Hudson Valley and Western Passaic andBergen Counties. The greatest threat for black ice formation is onany untreated surfaces.If you are out in the area overnight, be on the lookout for slickspots on roadways and sidewalks.
