The National Weather Service in Upton NY has issued a* Flood Warning for...Western Suffolk County in southeastern New York...Nassau County in southeastern New York...* Until 845 PM EDT* At 547 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated additional heavy rainapproaching from the south that will cause flooding. Up to twoinches of rain have already fallen. An additional one to twoinches is possible across the warning area. This additional rainwill likely result in urban and poor drainage flooding across muchof the region.
