The National Weather Service In Binghamton Has Issued An * Urban And Small Stream Flood Advisory For... Sullivan County... * Until 200 AM EDT * At 955 PM EDT...Doppler Radar Indicated That Additional Heavy Rain Was Falling Or Developing...And Will Result In Minor Flooding. Rainfall Rates May Exceed An Inch Per Hour In The Heaviest Showers * Locations In The Advisory Include But Are Not Limited To Liberty...Monticello...Glen Spey...Hartwood...Parksville...And Willowemoc. A Front Is Passing Through Late This Evening...And Heavy Showers With Occasional Thunder Have Developed Ahead Of It. Rainfall Will Be Heavy At Times Until The Front Finishes Passing Through. This Will Result In Quick Rises In Creeks And Small Streams...Water On Roadways...And Minor Flooding In Poor Drainage Areas.

This Additional Rainfall Will Contribute To Continued Rises On Creeks And Small Streams...As Well As Minor Flooding In Poor Drainage Areas And Water On Roadways.

At 906 PM EDT...A Cluster Of Heavy Showers With Embedded Thunderstorms Extended From Burke Center To Chasm Falls To Azure Mountain...Moving Northeast At 25 Mph. Doppler Radar Estimates That One-Half To Near One Inch Of Rain Has Fallen In The Past Hour From These Showers And Embedded Thunderstorms. An Additional Half To One Inch Of Rain Will Cause Water To Pond On Roads And In Poor Drainage Areas. There May Be Rapid Rises On Small Streams And Creeks. Locations Impacted Include But Are Not Limited To... North Burke...Malone...Chateaugay...Duane Center...Earlville... Chasm Falls...Owls Head... Be Careful When Driving. Ponding Water On Roadways Can Create Dangerous Driving Conditions...And Heavy Rainfall Will Reduce Visibility. Turn Around...Don`T Drown.

Central Suffolk County In Southeast New York... * Until 1100 PM EDT. * At 854 PM EDT...National Weather Service Doppler Radar Showed Thunderstorms With Rainfall Rates Of 2 To 3 Inches Per Hour Moving Across Central Suffolk County. Additional Thunderstorms Will Move Into These Same Areas From Offshore Between Now And 11 PM. Total Rainfall Through 11 PM Should Range From 1 To 2 Inches.
