Rain today will change over to a wintry mix this afternoon ascold air filters into the region from the north. Sleet is expectedto fall before ending early this evening. At the same time, it ispossible for freezing rain to occur. Sleet accumulations maytotal up to an inch, and while ice accretion from freezing rain isnot likely to be widespread, a light glaze of ice in spots cannotbe ruled out. Temperatures will be falling into the low 30s thisafternoon. Be prepared for slippery conditions this afternoon andfor the evening commute. Dry weather is expected tonight once theprecipitation ends early this evening.
