NIAGARA...ORLEANS...EASTERNCHAUTAUQUA...WESTERN ALLEGANY AND WESTERN GENESEE COUNTIES...A broad band of moderate snow will continue across much of WesternNew York through this evening. Visibility will be reduced to a halfmile or less at times, with winds gusting to 30 mph. Expectadditional accumulations of up to an inch through 8 PM.Roads will become slushy and slippery in some locations. Motoristsshould use caution and be alert for deteriorating travel conditions.This includes the following highways...Interstate 90 between exits 58 and 48.Interstate 86 between exits 11 and 29.Interstate 190 and 290.Route 219 and Route 400.Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Visibility will be reducedto a half mile or less at times, with winds gusting to 30 mph.Expect accumulations of an inch or less on grassy surfaces acrosslower elevations, including the Buffalo Metro Area through 630 PM.Accumulations may reach 1 to 1.5 inches across the higher terrainfrom the Boston Hills into Cattaraugus County. Some roads may becomeslushy across the higher terrain.Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations.
