...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON...The Flood Watch continues for* A portion of western New York...including the followingcounties...Allegany...Cattaraugus...Chautauqua...Genesee...Livingston...Monroe...Niagara...Northern Erie...Orleans...Southern Erie and Wyoming.* Through Monday afternoon.* A slow moving cold front will bring another round of heavyrainfall late this afternoon through tonight. Additionalrainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected. This willbring two day rainfall totals into the 1.5 to 2.5 inch rangein many locations. This rain is falling on already saturatedground from wet weather over the past few weeks.* Excessive runoff from the heavy rainfall may result inflooding of low lying areas and also small streams and creeks.Drainage inlets clogged by leaves will increase the risk ofstreet flooding. Some larger creeks and rivers will also seesignificant rises across Western New York, and some willlikely reach minor flood stage.

In western New York...Ontario andWayne.* From 7 PM EST this evening through Monday afternoon.* A slow moving cold front will bring heavy rainfall late thisafternoon through Monday morning. Additional rainfall amounts of0.75 to 1.25 inches are expected. This will bring two dayrainfall totals into the 1.5 to 2.5 inch range.
