...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT EAST CENTRALSCHENECTADY...NORTHEASTERN ALBANY...SOUTHEASTERN SARATOGA...SOUTHERNWASHINGTON AND NORTHERN RENSSELAER COUNTIES...At 527 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were locatedalong a line extending from near Mechanicville to Colonie. Movementwas east at 30 mph.Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail are possible with thesestorms.These storms will be near...Mechanicville around 535 PM EDT.Waterford and Wynantskill around 545 PM EDT.Center Brunswick around 550 PM EDT.Hoosick Falls, Grafton and Cambridge around 600 PM EDT.THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...Interstate 90 exit 1s and near exit 2.Interstate 87 between exits 1 and 8-8A, near exit 4, near exit 9-10,near exit 8A , and between exits 8-9 and 9.Interstate 787 near exit 7W, and exit 9W and near exit 8-7.Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and maycause localized flooding.
