In addition, mild weather during this period willmelt any snow which lingers across the Tug Hill and Adirondacks.* Runoff will cause rises in the Black River basin...resulting inpotential for flooding as a result of the run-off and snow melt.Also...the Seneca River which flows into Cross Lake is runninghigh with rainfall resulting in at least steady if not risinglevels in the waterway.
