This combined withrecent heavy rainfall will produce minor low lying fieldflooding and rises on local streams and rivers.* The Oswegatchie River could once again rise above flood stageby Monday...as the river is already running high.

One to two or moreinches of rainfall is expected. This combined with recent heavyrainfall in the past month will lead to elevated floodconcerns.* Excessive runoff from the heavy rainfall may result inflooding of low lying areas and also small streams and creeks.The Buffalo Creeks are especially susceptible to reachingflood stage. Drainage inlets clogged by leaves may increasethe risk of street flooding.

One to two inches of rainfall isexpected in addition to the 2 to 5 inches that fell recently.* Excessive runoff from the heavy rainfall may result in low lyingareas and small streams flooding. The Oswegatchie River couldonce again rise above flood stage as the river is alreadyrunning high.

Movement was east at 35 mph.Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with these storms.Locations impacted include...Buffalo, Cheektowaga, West Seneca, Lackawanna, Depew, Dunkirk,Fredonia, Lancaster, Hamburg and East Aurora.This includes Interstate 90 between exits 59 and 52.
