...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 9 AMEST SUNDAY...The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Wind ChillAdvisory, which is in effect from 10 PM this evening to 9 AM ESTSunday.* LOCATIONS...western and southern Adirondacks, Lake Georgeregion, western and central Mohawk Valley, Schoharie Valley,eastern Catskills, Taconics, Berkshires, northwesternConnecticut and the southern Green Mountains.* HAZARD TYPES...Dangerously cold wind chills.* Wind Chill Readings...as low as 15 to 25 below zero.* TIMING...late this evening into Sunday morning.* IMPACTS...Frostbite possible on exposed skin.* Winds...Northwest 10 to 15 mph decreasing to 5 to 10 mph.* Temperatures...dropping below zero.

...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AMEST SUNDAY...The National Weather Service in Burlington has issued a WindChill Advisory, which is in effect from 10 PM this evening to10 AM EST Sunday.* Locations...The Adirondacks in northern New York, and from thewestern slopes of the Green Mountains of Vermont eastward tothe Connecticut River.* Hazard Types...Low wind chill temperatures.* Wind Chill Readings...20 to 29 below zero.* Timing...10 PM Saturday night until 10 AM Sunday.* Impacts...Frostbite on exposed skin is possible after 30minutes of exposure. Hypothermia is also possible if properprecautions are not taken.Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong windswill combine to generate low wind chills.
