Reproductive Health Awareness Day on Wednesday, April 7th—9:00 a.m. - Noon at the Olean Office of the Health Department.
The Health Department will be offering:
- HIV testing,
- Family Planning Information.
A Healthier America: One Community at a Time
Tuesday, December 22nd at the Otto Fire Hall, located at 99 Jark Road in Otto, NY. The blood drive will be held from 3pm-8pm.
Donors must have picture ID, be at least 17 years of age (or 16 years old with a signed American Red Cross Parental Permission Slip), weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health the day of the blood drive. Donors are encouraged to eat and drink plenty of fluids prior to donating blood. Read more

A Free Webinar, “Alternative Production Methods for Strawberries”, will kick off the strawberry mini series when it airs live September 9th, 2009 at 12:45 PM. Featured speakers for this webcast are Dr. Lewis Jett, West Virginia State University, and Ms. Kathy Demchak, Penn State University. Dr. Jett will be speaking on growing strawberries in high tunnels. Ms. Demchak will be speaking on northeast approaches to growing strawberries on plastic. Read more
