It is essential that low-acid vegetables, meats, fish and poultry are processed by pressure canning, and each year it is important to have your Dial Gauge Pressure Canner tested to insure that the food you offer to your family is safe.

A New exhibit opening at the Cattaraugus County Museum!
On April 12th, a date that marks the 150th anniversary of the bombardment of Fort Sumter in Charleston Harbor, the Cattaraugus County Museum will open a new exhibit: “The Civil War”. This exhibit will focus on the legacy of soldiers from Cattaraugus County and the surrounding region.
