Business Advertising Class
If you’re in business and need help advertising or promoting sales in today’s economy, the Cattaraugus County Business Development Corporation (CCBDC), a nonprofit business development service, has the answer that could point the way to a good and sustaining business impact.
Responding to recent feedback from the local business economy, the CCBDC will offer a special, one-topic class, “How to Generate Sales from Effective Advertising,” on Monday, May 3rd from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in Room 123 of Francis Hall on the St. Bonaventure University campus.
In conjunction with a working partnership involving the CCBDC and St. Bonaventure University’s School of Business, established last September to provide entrepreneurial outreach education geared toward business development needs in Cattaraugus County, the May 3rd class will be taught by graduate students of St. Bonaventure’s Master of Business Administration Program.
The May 3rd evening class will feature instruction and casework study focusing on the essential elements and best practices for successfully advertising a small business in today’s challenging economy. Display, electronic media generated, promotional, and incentive-based advertising concepts will be covered. The instruction will emphasize how best to assess the costs and benefits of advertising approaches.
As the class size will be limited to twenty participants, those interested are encouraged to sign up promptly by contacting Laurie Andrews of the CCBDC at: (716) 938-9531, ext. 11. To help offset instructional costs, registrants will pay a $10.00 per class fee. Payments can be made in advance or at the class.
