Not sure what to do with your rural acreage? Do you have some land you want farmed out or are you a farmer looking for some extra acreage? If so, you may be joining the ranks of the many landowners and farmers in the Northeast who, by working together are helping keep the “working landscape” open and productive. Cornell Cooperative Extension will host 2 Land Leasing Workshops to assist land owners understanding of options to put their land resource to work for them.
There will be a land lease workshop will be on Wednesday, April 13, 2011, 7:00-8:30pm at the Great Valley Town Hall, 4808 Route 219, Great Valley, New York. Pre-registration requested by April 11th 2011 as space is limited. To register call Lynn Bliven at 716-699-2377 ext. 124 or email: lao3 [at] cornell [dot] edu with name and number attending.
