Public Forum for County Comprehensive Plan

The first public forum for the Cattaraugus County Comprehensive Plan has been set for Thursday, May 31st 6:00 pm, at the Cattaraugus County Center Building, 303 Court Street, Little Valley, NY.

Cattaraugus County is beginning a planning process to develop a new comprehensive plan and vision for Cattaraugus County. The purpose of this plan is to provide a blueprint for the future growth and development of the County in the areas of land use, economic development, agriculture, the environment, transportation, infrastructure, and arts and culture. Through this process, the County seeks to establish clear goals and achievable objectives that will lead the County to become the best living environment for our citizens.

The County is seeking the public’s input to this planning process and encourages all citizens interested in expressing their views on the County's future to attend one or more upcoming public forums. A series of public forums, centered around six broad topic areas, has been set to gather public input into the formulation of goals and objectives for this plan. If you are interested in helping the County chart a course toward a brighter future, please consider participating in one or more of these events. Your input in planning for the future of Cattaraugus County is vital to its success.
