The Cattaraugus County Human Resources Department is seeking qualified applicants for provisional appointment to the position of Insurance And Workers Compensation Coordinator. The position is located in the County Office building in Little Valley, New York. The work involves planning and implementing a program designed to minimize workers compensation claims and to ensure County compliance with health insurance regulations set forth in Federal statute. The incumbent is responsible for analyzing and reporting fiscal changes in the health insurance and workers compensation programs, providing recommendations to the County as to appropriate courses of action. Permanent appointment requires successful completion, and placement, thru the Civil Service examination process. Minimum qualifications include: Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration, Accounting, or Finance and four years of responsible experience working with a health insurance and/or workers compensation program. A Master's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Accounting, or Finance may be substituted for two years of the required experience. Salary: $49,998 annually.
