The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Pistol Permit Clerk, to be filled on a part time basis, to work at its’ Little Valley center. The selected applicant will serve on a provisional (temporary) basis pending successful qualification on a Civil Service Examination. The work involves the processing of pistol permit applications as well as maintaining detailed records of permit applications and fees. Salary $12.55 per hour. Minimum qualifications include Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and one year of clerical office experience.
