A new exhibit, "The Great War" is now open at the Cattaraugus County Museum. The centerpiece of this exhibit is a collection of rare WWI posters on loan by Phil Abbott of Franklinville. In addition, we have many items of equipment and uniforms on display, including a WWI flight suit worn by a Cattaraugus County man. This exhibit will run through the end of December.

The museum is located on the first floor of the Stone House, 9824 Route 16, Machias, New York. Our hours of operation are Tuesday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm. We also have weekend hours on the first and third Saturday of each month from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Our phone number is 716-353-8200.
