Cattaraugus County 4-H Teen Council Shares a Little Love
The Cattaraugus County 4-H Teen Council visited the Ronald McDonald House of Buffalo on Sunday, February 12th. They made a fabulous dinner for the guests and also frosted quite a few Valentine’s Day cut-out cookies along with a few 4-H clovers. Nine Teen Council members along with some family members made Ranch Chicken, homemade Mac n’ Cheese, salad, garlic bread and a vegetable along with the cookies.
The Ronald McDonald House is a community supported organization dedicated to children and their families by offering a “home away from home” by providing lodging and emotional support for families of children receiving medical treatment.
The 4-H Teen Council brings the teens together from all clubs around the county and interest areas and they participate in community service projects. They visit different businesses to give them some career ideas, and information about what is out there, and of course, have some fun with our friends. Some upcoming trips are going to be to LaserTron and a behind the scenes day at Darien Lake.
