Cattaraugus County Sheriff, Timothy S. Whitcomb, Announces Correction Officer Graduates

Little Valley, NY – Sheriff Timothy S. Whitcomb announces the graduation of three Correction Officer Recruits from the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Basic Academy for correction Officers.  

TheBasicCorrectionsAcademywas facilitated by Erie County Sheriff’s Office Correction/Training Division. The Academy consisted of 160 hours of classroom training, defensive tactics and first aid/CPR.

Graduates include: Britney Phillips, Joseph Emerson and Kevin Reed. Each graduating officer was within the top 10% of their class academically.
