New Exhibit Opens at Cattaraugus County Museum!

The Cattaraugus County Museum and Research Library is pleased to announce the opening of a new exhibit: "A Cut Above: The Cutlery Industry in Cattaraugus County."  This exhibit features knives and other artifacts chronicling Cattaraugus County's rich history of knife making.  Among the knife manufacturers represented are Cutco, Ka-Bar, Case Brothers, Kinfolks Inc., Ontario Knife Co., and Cattaraugus Cutlery Co.  This exhibit is open now and will run through November, 2015.  Come check it out!

The Cattaraugus County Museum is located in the Stone House, 9824 Rt. 16 in Machias.  Our current hours are Tuesday through Friday, 9-4.  As of June 25 we will be switching our days to Monday through Thursday, still 9-4.  Feel free to call us at 716-353-8200 with any questions.
