The Cattaraugus County Museum and Research Library is pleased to announce the opening of a new exhibit: "Frank Wayland Higgins; 35th Governor of New York."  The exhibit, made possible largely through generous loans of material by Mr. Ronnie Beverly of Rushford and Mr. Frank Higgins of Olean, focuses on the life of this prominent politician who called Olean home through photographs, letters, documents, and campaign materials.  It will run until May, 2016 and as always is free and open to the public.  Come see it!

The Cattaraugus County Museum is open Monday through Thursday, 9-4 and is located in the Stone House, 9824 Rt. 16 in Machias.  Call 716-353-8200 or visit www.cattco.org/museum.
