Summer Youth Employment Program Signup Dates

The Cattaraugus County Department of Social Services is ready to help area youth find summer jobs through the Summer Youth Employment Program. The Department will assist youth between the ages of 14 and 20 who meet eligibility requirements with job interview skills, professional conduct and in finding employment. Last year Cattaraugus County Department of Social Services staff assisted 152 area youth from communities across Cattaraugus County.

Outreach dates are from 2:30-4pm as follows:

The following documentation will be needed at application:

  • Birth Certificate Social Security Card
  • Verification of grade level (report card) Proof of ALL household income
  • Proof of Residence Photo ID (If 18 or over)
  • Work Permit **If under 18 Parent or guardian signature on forms **if under 18

For over 10 years, the Department of Social Services dedicated staff has administered this federally funded program to recruit, train and place youth with participating employers.
