Join Cattaraugus County Economic Development, Planning and Tourism in a special speaker discussion with light refreshments on October 19th, 2017 at 7pm in the Legislative Chambers. Special guest speaker, Dan Klaes, owner of the Haunted Hinsdale House and The Hinsdale Restoration Project founder, will be giving a talk on how to make your location, filled with folklore, marketable and into a business that invites visitors in to investigate the legends, the strange happenings and the world of the unexplainable. Bring your own experiences and stories of the paranormal to share at this public lecture.

Dan has worked to preserve the haunted building for research purposes and being a paranormal investigator with Para Expeditions, he allows other paranormal investigative teams to come in, set up shop and see what they can find out about the inhabitants of the house over the years. He has hosted local, national and international teams and has been hosting public ghost tours, public overnights and television shows. The house has been seen on "A Haunting" which aired on Discovery Channel, a Halloween special at the house was featured on TLC and "Paranormal Lockdown" featuring Nick Groff and Katrina Wiedman, who have since returned. It is the subject of several books, written by previous inhabitants of the house, along with one written by Dan himself. There have been celebrities from the Paranormal world here, including Mike and Brian from the hit show "The Demon Files", Psychic Chris Moon and Brian Cano from the TV Show "The Haunted Collector" to name a couple.

So come for an evening of sharing stories of folklore or for excellent information on how to make your own paranormal location into a business and enter in to the realm of paranormal hospitality and Tourism!
