The Cattaraugus County Museum and Research Library is pleased to announce the opening of it's new exhibit: "Answer the Call! Cattaraugus County Marches to War, 1917-1918." April marked the centennial of the U.S. entry into World War I, and the intention of this exhibit is to mark that anniversary and recognize the more than 2,100 Cattaraugus County men and women who served during that conflict.

The exhibit features uniforms, weapons, documents and personal items from all over Cattaraugus County, and will run through April, 2018.

The Cattaraugus County Museum is located in the Stone House, 9824 Route 16 in Machias. We are open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
