The Community Transportation Coalition of Cattaraugus County has completed its 2014 Update to the 2009 Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan for Cattaraugus County.
Notice of Annual 30-Day Period to Request Inclusion of Agricultural Land within an existing Agricultural District
Agriculture and Markets Law Section 303-b was enacted in 2003 to provide for the designation of an annual 30-day period during which landowners may submit requests for the inclusion of predominately viable agricultural land into an existing certified agricultural district. Cattaraugus County has designated January 2 through January 31, 2014 as this 30-day period. Landowners seeking inclusion into a certified agricultural district must submit a “Landowner Request for Inclusion” form to the Cattaraugus County Department of Economic Development, Planning and Tourism by the January 31st deadline.
The second public forum on the County’s Comprehensive Plan will be held on Thursday, June 21st at 6:00pm at the Mansfield Town Hall, 7691 Toad Hollow Road, Little Valley. The topic of this forum will be Agriculture.
In 1978, Cattaraugus County adopted its first Comprehensive Plan, entitled the Cattaraugus County Land Use Plan 2000. Since then, many changes have occurred in our County, many not anticipated or envisioned by the Plan.
The Cattaraugus County Planning Board will hold its Annual Meeting on July 28, 2010 at the Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel, Events Center North West, 777 Seneca Allegany Blvd., Salamanca, New York. James E. Stitt, Chairman, CEO and President of the CUTCO Corporation will be the Keynote Speaker.
The Draft Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan for Cattaraugus County has been developed by the Community Transportation Coalition of Cattaraugus County in response to federal law and is required by the Federal Transit Administration. The plan is intended to identify the transportation needs of individuals with disabilities, older adults, and people with low incomes, provide coordination strategies among agencies for meeting these local needs, and prioritize transportation strategies for funding and implementation.
