Major Update to the Parcel Viewer!

The Office of Real Property and GIS Services is proud to announce a major update to the Parcel Viewer!  To keep up with industry standards and the technological movement from using browser plug-ins (Flash) to mobile browser-friendly HTML 5; the Parcel Viewer has been recreated using Javascript.

The new viewer will have all of the same features as previous versions and users should see a jump in performance.  Mobile users will now also be able to use the viewer directly from their browser on whatever device they are using.

2015 Tobacco Sales Enforcement Program

This is a Violation of Article 13-F, Regulation of Tobacco Products and Herbal Cigarettes; Distribution to Minors.

Undersheriff Robert Buchhardt Sworn Into Office

Sheriff Timothy Whitcomb proudly announces that on Monday, October 19, 2015 Captain Robert Buchhardt was promoted to the office of Undersheriff of Cattaraugus County.  In a small ceremony at the Sheriff’s Office, and presided by the Honorable Judge Ronald Ploetz, now Undersheriff Robert Buchhardt took the Oath of Office to fulfill the role as Undersheriff.

Sheriff Timothy Whitcomb states, “It is an honor and privilege for me to have Bob Buchhardt accept my offer to him, to accept the position of Undersheriff at the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy Max Graham Certified as a Drug Recognition Expert

Sheriff Timothy Whitcomb proudly announces that Deputy Max Graham, an eight year veteran of the Sheriff’s Office, has successfully completed a three week Drug Recognition Expert Training Course.

The purpose of the DRE program is to assist officers in removing impaired drivers from the roadway.
