Daylight Saving Time (DST) begins on Sunday, March 10. As you set your clocks ahead one hour, CPSC urges you to replace the batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms at home.
Proper installation, operation and maintenance of smoke and CO alarms reduces the risk of injuries, death and property damage. You should have working smoke and CO alarms in your home; if you do not, now is the time to install them!
