Cattaraugus County Department of Economic Development will host the 3rd Annual WILMA - We Invite Local Manufacturers & Artisans - buy local event on Saturday, October 24th, 2015 at 10 am – 5 pm and Sunday, October 25th, 2015 at 11 am– 3 pm in the Corporate Building on the Cattaraugus County Fairgrounds, Little Valley, NY.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a Bow Hunters’ Education Class on the following dates and time: Tuesday, August 25, 2015 and Thursday, August 27, 2015 from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. The class will be held at the Hideaway Archery in Dayton,New York
There is no charge for the class. Participants must attend both days of instruction to receive a certificate. It is preferable that participants be at least 12 years of age. If a parent wants an 11-year-old to take the class, the parent must attend and sit with the child on both days.
Cathy Mackay, director of the Cattaraugus County Department of the Aging/NY Connects, has announced that the agency’s Twenty-First (21st) Annual Senior Forum and Public Hearing will be held Thursday, August 20, 2015, at the Franklinville Elementary School beginning at 9:00 a.m. The forum is open to all persons age 60 and older who are residents of Cattaraugus County.
The Cattaraugus County Planning Board, at its July 22nd Annual Dinner Meeting, presented the 2015 Brooks Patterson Community Leadership Award to Ann Padlo of the City of Olean for her outstanding leadership in community involvement and economic development in the City of Olean and Cattaraugus County. The meeting was held at The Woods at Bear Creek in Franklinville with 85 in attendance.
