Right-to-Farm Law for Cattaraugus County

Cattaraugus County values agriculture as a vital and important component of the landscape and economy of the County.  In recognition of this, the County adopted a right-to-farm local law in 1995 to provide comprehensive right-to-farm protections for farmers and farm landowners.

How often are free rabies clinics held?

One clinic is held in January in Little Valley.  Once clinic is held in May in Little Valley.  Three clinics are held in September (Markhams, Allegany and Franklinville).

County Zoning Referrals

New York State General Municipal Law Sections 239-l, m, n, and nn requires municipal boards to refer certain development applications, proposed zoning changes, and comprehensive plans to the County Planning Board for review before taking final action. Read more
