Single Point of Accountability for Children & Youth

The Cattaraugus County Department of Community Services uses the Single Point of Accountability model for assessment of referrals of children and adolescents who meet the following criteria:

  • Age 18 and under
  • Carry a diagnosis indicating serious emotional disability
  • Involved with other service providers such as School


Committee on Special Education, child , welfare child protection services, and juvenile justice/probation. Read more

Forensic Program

The term forensics is used to identify services that are directly related to the Courts and Criminal Justice system.
Inmate Counseling and Psychiatric services.

  • Sex Offender Assessments.
  • Sex Offender Group Treatment.
  • Court Ordered Mental Health Evaluations.
  • Discharge Planning.
  • Case Management Services.

Clinic Services

Services are open to all residents of Cattaraugus County. The clinic accepts Medicaid, most insurances and also has a sliding scale for self-pay fees, based upon a person's income and ability to pay. Services include:

  • Counseling for children, adolescents, adults and families,
  • Group counseling,
  • Medication/psychiatric evaluations,
  • Aftercare services,
  • Nursing/health assessments,
  • Court evaluations,
  • Referrals.
