On Friday, September 17, 2010 from11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Brown Farm – Dan and Marcy Brown, 5346 Snow Brook Road, Great Valley, NY (Cattaraugus County) there will be discussions on organic nutrition, a presentation on crop insurance and other discussions.
Visit the Farm Day, on Saturday, September 25, 2010, sponsored by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Allegany/Cattaraugus Counties, is a self guided tour of local farms offering residents an opportunity to purchase fresh products such as fruits, vegetables, meat, flowers, plants, trees, and fiber while engaged in demonstrations and other fun and educational activities hosted by your local farms. There are 12 farms participating in Visit the Farm Day this year, making it a fun and educational event for all ages. Read more
The Farmersville Fire Department will be having a WING night on Friday, September 17, 2010 from 5PM to 8PM at the Farmersville Fire Hall. The Farmersville Fire Department will be serving wings and fries.
