The Future Is Now Conference

As we continue the celebration of the Cattaraugus County Bicentennial, where we have cherished and embraced the past, we now turn our focus on preparing for the future.  

This Major Cattaraugus County Economic/Youth Bureau Conference is on September 25, 2008 at the Premier Banquet Center in Olean, NY.  Registration and Breakfast begin at 7:30 a.m.  The conference will begin at 8:30 a.m. sharp and end around 4:00 p.m.  A working lunch will be provided. Read more

Regional Manufacturing Forum

On Monday October 6th, the National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (NCDMM), Northwest Industrial Resource Center and Northwest Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission, will co-host a Regional Manufacturing Forum at the Bayfront Convention Center in Erie, Pennsylvania. The Forum will encourage interaction and collaboration by bringing together area manufacturers, Department of Defense (DoD) representatives, and DoD prime and tiered suppliers. Read more

This 4 week, 4 night educational program is designed for anyone wishing to learn more about horses - no matter whether you are a beginner or a seasoned equestrian there will be information for all. The program will include guest presenters on different topics such as feeding, trail riding, showing, styles of riding, safety, veterinary care, housing among others each night as well as a planned visit to a local horse farm.

Electricians Recruit Apprentices

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee, Local Union #106, will conduct a recruitment from November 9, 2011 through October 24, 2012 for five electrician apprentices and two residential electrician apprentices, the New York State Department of Labor announced.
